Their heads are parallel, facing to the left. The man in the dominant right-hand position wears otter-wrapped braids with the ends dangling. His red blanket is solid except for the undyed selvedge edges sewn together at the seam to create a �skunk� stripe down his back and along the lower hem (Plate 9). The man wears a long German silver hairplate ornament that falls to his feet and ends with two red streamers. Stripes at his neck represent a hairpipe breastplate ornament. His leggings showing below the blanket are fringed and have three dark stripes. The woman has one long dark braid showing. Her bare legs show below the blanket�uncolored except for three dark stripes or �trails.�
