Private collector in Missouri interested in ledger art for its history, sentiment, graphic playfulness, and as the foundation for subsequent Plains artists. My collection focuses on works of Kiowa Five/Six and later but stops with mass produced prints post-Crumbo. I am also interested in contemporary Osage fine art produced by Norman Akers which is based on highly disciplined graphic device. His frequent use of road maps as background and overlapping of time and culture are reminiscent of the ledger traditions while his presentation is contemporary and modern in production methods.
