“The buffalo hunt is the subject of this drawing. The hunter, having selected his prey from the herd, has already wounded him and is about to deal the final blow. The artist may have included the mounted hunter with upraised bow at the far left as an afterthought. The figure looks like it was copied directly from the horses and riders done by Charlie Robb in drawing Nº27.” (p.39)
