Ethnographic Notes

Depicting three warriors on horseback bearing guidon-festooned lances, the men's leggings decorated with grizzly bear paw motifs, the ponies painted with banded design. Showing a landscape with a herd of buffalo in the distant hills, a band of hunters in pursuit, a creek or river partially visible through tall grass in the foreground.
