In Cheyenne cosmological symbolism, green is the south quadrant of the Middle World, blue is the Blue Sky-Space of the heavens, and yellow signifies the Nearer Sky-Space just below. The green diamonds with red crosses at the ends on the 4 corners are frequent Cheyenne motifs.
