Is the hunter depicted in this drawing a self-insertion of the Artist, another hunter, or perhaps simply a hunter that does not specifically represent any hunter at all? I wonder how that might affect one's analysis of this drawing.
I wonder why only some of the figures carry umbrellas (or umbrella-resembling items).
Interesting how the artist has designed this train to appear so bright and colorfully painted. Something I imagine was perhaps not a feature on trains at that time.

Who are the three men on the left side of the drawing? The prints indicate they are coming from another place to the area of Fort Marion men/soldiers resting and eating by a fire.
