| User Agreement Please read this notice carefully before selecting one of the buttons below. 1 The Plains Indian Ledger Art Digital Publishing Project (PILA) serves to provide public access to images, research, and commentary for educational, academic, and tribal uses. 2 All material displayed or posted on the public portion of the PILA site is provided with the permission of its respective owners or creators or the Plains Indian Ledger Art Digital Publishing Project. 3 These materials may be copied, downloaded, or otherwise harvested if all of the following conditions are observed: a Thumbnail and Plate View images may be used in their entirely and without any editing, cropping, or manipulation in accordance to standards of educational fair use. b All sources must be credited and notice(s) must be displayed with any copyright or ownership information shown in the original source. Crediting the source means adequately identifying the source of the work, giving a full bibliographic description where available (including the creator/author, title, edger book title, copyright owner, and plate title or number, as well as citing the electronic address of PILA (plainsledgerart.org). c No details of any kinds nor images cropped, reduced, enlarged, or manipulated in any manner can be used for any purpose without the prior and explicit permission granted by the owner of any image. 4 Users must own or have copyright or permission to reproduce for any materials posted to the public portion of the PILA site, except as provided for in accordance with the standards of educational fair use. Uploading material to this site gives PILA perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, copy, display, archive, store, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works from such information, in any form, media, software or technology of any kind now existing or developed in the future. 5 Public comments are provided to enrich the knowledge relating to Plains Ledger Art within a historical and contemporary context. Comments will be removed which violate standards1 of good taste, decorum, and the sprit of the free exchange of knowledge and information for the benefit of all. The accounts of flagrant violators of these standards will be disabled. Use of this site signifies your agreement with the following terms of use.
